Your PAYG withholding payment summary annual report needs to be lodged by 14 August 2016.

Lodging your report by electronic storage media (e.g. CD or USB) to the ATO is no longer an option. You are required to lodge using one of the following methods:

 Online

If your payroll software meets ATO specifications, you can lodge your payment summary annual report as follows:

  • EMPDUPE file through the ATO Portal (this file is generated from your software) – You cannot lodge scanned images or forms, screen prints, spreadsheets or word processing files (for example .pdf, .doc, .xls, .jpg, .tif). We suggest you forward your EMPDUPE file to our office so that we can lodge on your behalf rather than needing to obtain a Portal account.
  • Standard Business Reporting (SBR) – secure online lodgement direct from your financial accounting SBR-enabled or payroll software. If you need to find out whether your software is SBR-enabled, you can view the SBR product register  (http://www.sbr.gov.au/sbr-products-register/sbr-product-register-full-list) or talk to your software provider.

ATO Stationery

Paper forms MUST be on ATO stationery, the ATO will NOT process payment summaries printed from your payroll software. Your PAYG withholding payment summary annual report which is made up of the PAYG payment summary statement and original ATO copies of all the payment summaries can be posted to the following address:

Additionally, when your Workers Compensation Insurance Policy falls due, we strongly recommend that you forward your declaration to our office for verification before lodging.
