It’s the end of an era…
After 27 years with HQB, it is with both sadness and excitement that we farewell one of our Partners, Paul Chakos on the 30th June 2020. Paul started at HQB as a junior accountant in 1992, before moving his way up to a Partner role after demonstrating his ability to maintain relationships with clients to build their personal wealth as well as their business’. Paul has been a valued leader at HQB and has passed on a wealth of knowledge to our staff. His knowledge and experience, as well as his big personality will be missed in our office. We wish nothing but the best for Paul as he tackles this next chapter of his life (after first taking a well-earned break).
…but the start of an age!
As HQB’s first female Partner, Catherine Stojcevska brings to the table a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from Southern Cross University in Coffs Harbour, as well as affiliations, training and experience from various taxation institutions. Cath has obtained a wealth of work experience from various industries over her career and stepped out of private practice in 2010 to learn first-hand what it takes to run a large scale successful hospitality business in the Coffs Harbour area. From this, Cath was taught resilience, quick thinking and problem solving skills that has made her a successful team member at HQB for the past 3 years. Looking to the future, Cath endevours to help our clients with taxation and business advice, recruitment and HR management, and business coaching. Her goal is to make a difference to our clients, our team and our practice by taking time to understand clients and their personal situations. Cath takes pride in being a local to Coffs Harbour and hopes to help our community and businesses recover from the recent struggles.
