About Me

Renee began her career at HQB in 2009. Moving between the roles of Receptionist and Costing Clerk, she gained an in depth understanding of the business and began learning all aspects of the taxation and accounting world.

In 2011, Renee started her position as an Accountant of HQB. This was when her knowledge of accounting & taxation began to grow and exceed expectations. Now a valued member of the accounting team, Renee enjoys working directly with clients to help them to better manage their accounting systems, and deliver on time and accurate accounts. Renee was then promoted to Accountant Manager in 2015, which was also when she started studying her Bachelor of Business. Renee’s specific interests range from Taxation & Accounting to MYOB and Xero.

When not at her 9-5, Renee loves being at home with her kids and husband. She can often be found with her head in a book or out in nature enjoying a long walk. She also loves baking, which is much appreciated by the entire HQB team.

I was referred to James & the HQB team around 2016. James has been fantastic - always available when advice is sought, explains options clearly and moves quickly when I request documents in most unreasonable timeframes. I have been with HQB since ACSM was merged...so long ago i cannot remember. Their service has always been good and this has been elevated to excellent since James Davis took over my account. He is super sharp, good at listening and prompt in response to enquiries. I recommend HQB.

I met James Davis from HQB about 6 - 7 years ago when we were looking for an accountant that would suit our needs better and provide the advice that would steer us into the future.At the time I sat in front of James and fired so many questions, scenarios, future plans etc and James did not bat an eyelid. HQB accountants are the best. They have pointed things out to me that my previous accountant didn't. They got me set up and straightened out all my accounts to ensure I was complying with with regulators. I now know my accounts are in good order.
