Right now, all NSW residents aged over 18 years can apply for 4 x $25 vouchers worth $100 in total that could be used at registered businesses. Once redeemed, the NSW government will reimburse the value of the voucher within 5 business days direct to your business bank account. It is a great incentive from the NSW Government, but to participate you must register your business.

If your business fits into any of the following eligible categories, you may be able to register to receive the vouchers:

  • cafés and restaurants
  • pubs, taverns, wineries, bars and clubs
  • scenic and sightseeing transport
  • cinemas
  • museums, galleries and historic sites
  • zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reserves
  • performing arts operations, theatres and entertainment centres
  • amusement, theme and water parks
  • recreational activities such as go-karting, indoor climbing, mini-golf, billiards, bowling or ice-rinks
  • outdoor adventures
  • travel agencies and tours.

Please note that your business also needs to have an active ABN, be registered for GST, have completed a COVID safety plan and be registered as “Covid-Safe” with the NSW Government to be eligible. More information on that can be found here.

NSW residents will be granted two types of vouchers that could be used at your business depending on your industry:

  • 2x $25 Dine vouchers to be used at restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs and clubs from Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.
  • 2x $25 Discover vouchers to be used for entertainment and recreation 7 days a week, excluding public holidays.

To accept the vouchers from customers, you’ll need to download the Service NSW for Business app and install it on each mobile device that will scan vouchers at your business.
