Every night more than 116,000 people in Australia don’t have a safe place to sleep or call home. The number of homeless Australians is a rising issue, with the rate of homelessness increasing by 2.7% each year.
The C.ex Community Crew Sleep Out is an annual community event, raising awareness and funds for local charities working to improve these statistics, and reduce the number of homeless people and people at risk of homelessness living on the Coffs Coast.
This year our very own Cath, Laura and Michelle will braving the cold to help raise money for two local charities; The Men’s Resource Centre and Warrina Women & Children’s Refuge.
If you would like to support their efforts by making a donation, click here, and together we can work on improving the homelessness situation on the Coffs Coast.
