There’s that old cliché that accountants can be dull and boring, clearly not the case here!

Every so often we all need some time out and if you can combine this with beautiful landscapes, you’ve found the perfect recipe for R & R.  Or so most people would assume, it all depends on your definition of a holiday.  For our very own Ian Hogbin, Partner of HQB Chartered Accountants, his recent Northern Hemisphere adventure consisted of a 7 day walk in the Scottish Moor covering a mammoth 160km (in the misty Scottish rain might we add!) with his lovely wife Sue followed by kayaking in the fjordlands of Eastern Greenland and finishing off with a Polar Plunge into Artic Waters with friend and client Norm Jeff of Coffs Harbour Blinds and Awnings.  While below freezing temperature may not appeal to all, the pictures of this trip certainly give an inner warmth when you see just how much this beautiful planet has to offer.
