James Davis

After growing up in Bellingen, James spent his early adult years away in Sydney, studying and working in a ‘big 4’ accounting firm, before moving back to the area and joining HQB in 2014. James joined the partnership in 2016 and since then has focussed his energy on finding solutions and creating positive outcomes for his clients.
James mans HQB’s Bellingen office every Tuesday, as well as servicing many clients in the Coffs Harbour area and beyond. 
In July 2026, James was appointed Managing Partner of HQB.  
Somehow, after all that energy invested in his clients, James still has plenty left for his addiction to ultra trail running, his four children and wife, Ashlie.
