get to know about HQB

HQB first started trading in 1955 as Allen C Hogbin Accountants and Auditors.  Over six decades this once small, regional accounting firm has morphed and grown to become a leading partner to regional businesses from Cairns to Victoria.

While our name has changed and the firm has expanded, our dedication to providing quality, professional services to businesses and individuals endures.

We treat all our clients as valued partners.  Each client, no matter how big or small, has a Partner and a Manager on their team, and clients know that the Partners are available and involved with their business.

Thanks to a program of perpetual systems improvement, our team manage your taxation and compliance needs seamlessly, in an accurate and timely manner.

Our audit capabilities are unique for a regional firm, with partners licensed to manage both company audits and SMSF audits.

Our Partners are Chartered Accountants and act as advisors to business clients, giving them the benefit of their business acumen and exposure to a wide range of regional businesses.  We care about your business success, offering reliable, practical and commercial business reporting and advice to help you to make wise and informed business decisions.

Our connection with the local Coffs Coast community runs deep.  Not only do we work to ensure that local businesses prosper, we also dedicate time and resources to ensuring that our community is strong, supporting local arts and sporting events.
